Buccal Massage

This specialized intraoral technique targets the muscles of the lower face and jaw.

This specialized intraoral technique targets the muscles of the lower face and jaw to address deep muscular tension, improve circulation, and support structural balance. The buccal massage is performed both externally and inside the mouth (with gloves), allowing direct access to the masseter and buccinator muscles, which are often linked to jaw dysfunction, tension headaches, and TMJ-related discomfort.
Incorporating lymphatic drainage, the treatment promotes detoxification by
stimulating the flow of lymphatic fluid, reducing localized swelling and fluid retention. Myofascial release techniques are applied to release restrictions in the connective tissue, restore mobility, and improve neuromuscular function.
This treatment is ideal for individuals experiencing jaw tightness, clenching, facial tension, or postural imbalances affecting the head and neck. Results may include improved muscle function, decreased pain, and a more sculpted, lifted appearance as circulation and tissue health improve.

Structural Bodywork with Josh

Structural bodywork is a style of manual therapy intended to improve joint mobility, postural alignment, and ease of movement and glide between connective tissue layers. This is primarily accomplished by interfacing with the myofascial system, at times including active or passive joint mobility exercises to encourage the nervous system to integrate new movement patterns, release protective muscle guarding, and increase range of motion.

Introductory & Maintenance Sessions

A great place to start if you’re curious about structural bodywork or looking for ongoing support. These sessions draw from Josh’s training in Myoskeletal Alignment Therapy (MAT), pioneered by Erik Dalton, and are ideal for reducing chronic pain, supporting athletic performance, or managing stress. They can also serve as a gateway into more in-depth series work.

Series Work

Series work is a focused, weekly progression designed to create lasting structural change. We identify a key postural pattern and work through the myofascial relationships contributing to it. Josh currently offers a 3-Series and is in training for the full 12-Series of Anatomy Trains Structural Integration

The 3-Series

Each 90-minute session begins with a detailed postural assessment and targeted myofascial work.

Session 1: Feet, legs, hips, and pelvis
Session 2: Breath, rib cage, abdomen, shoulder girdle, and arms
Session 3: Spine, integrating the first two sessions

Completed once a week for three weeks, this series supports stable, long-term structural balance.

MAT Sessions:

30–90 minutes. Attire is up to client preference (undress to your comfort level)

3-Series Sessions:
90 minutes. Full-coverage underwear preferred for standing assessments; sports bra and loose shorts acceptable though not ideal. Please avoid wearing lotion on the day of your session, as it may require rescheduling.
